The year at the studio
Every student chooses whether to play. Families and friends are always welcome to listen.

Weekly lessons start for returning and new students.

The studio is closed for two weeks. Lessons we cancel for weather are made up.

Informal adult evening
Early March
Adult students play for each other in the studio, with no program and no audience of strangers. Nobody has to play.

Students of every age play one piece each, on a grand piano, for family and friends.

What a recital is like
Short, quiet and kind. Every student plays one piece, if they want to.
Every student chooses
You can play, sit in the audience, or come to the next one. Your teacher will not push.
One piece each
A piece you have chosen with your teacher, played on a grand piano, with time to settle at the keys first.
Listeners welcome
Arrive a few minutes early, silence your phone and clap at the end of each piece. Doors stay open for anyone who needs a break.
